Practising peace together

A global event  |  21 September 2021
In celebration of the International Day of Peace

Around the world trained facilitators are offering a shared experience to help you find clarity and inspiration to practice peace a little bit more each day.

The International Day of Peace was established in 1981 by the United Nations General Assembly. The 2021 theme is Recovering better for an equitable and sustainable world.

“Celebrate peace by standing up against acts of hate online and offline, and by spreading compassion, kindness, and hope in the face of the pandemic, and as we recover.”

Peace is about ceasing fire and non-violence and it is also about practicing peace ourselves, with others and for the world.

It can be challenging. It can require vision, real action, support, leadership, courage, deep inspiration, personal grounding. That is why this celebration is about offering you a moment to connect with and strengthen your own practice of peace.

You will be supported by the Flow Game and trained Flow Game hosts - Nick, Mel, Jen and Moze from Campfire. The overall calling question for these games is What inspiration and clarity am I longing to find to help me practise a little bit more peace each day?  You are invited to formulate your own question to make your exploration most relevant to yourself.

The process is simple.

  1. Find a game in a place and time that suits you - see the list below.

  2. Sign up. We are offering these games for free.

  3. You will be contacted by your Flow Game host to confirm the details of the game.

  4. Show up on the day of the game and enjoy the company and wisdom council of others, and your new found clarity and inspiration for practicing peace.

  5. If you are unable to join one of our games, you will find many more being offered online and all over the world. Click on the button to learn more
